Nope, it’s not a soda.
Nik and I are pretty awesome. So much so that we had a baby named after BOTh of us.
Jennifer+Nikolas(Bislama spelling) = Jenikola

Speaking of babies, I missed the birth of dear Marny’s baby boy Ezra. And look how much he has already grown!!
Along with missing Shaela’s wedding, I will also be missing the birth of her first baby due in March! I’m not sure if it’s a grape, a lemon, or a dill pickle at this point, but I know it’s already brilliant and probably craving ceviche and gazpacho and baked goods by now.
That’s one of the reminders of my time away is seeing how much small children grow and change within such a sort time. It’s amazing. I’m really sorry I’ll be missing out on seeing these two ladies poopin’, tootin’ babes for a while.
But in the meantime, my host mama will be having her 5th baby next month, so I’ll have plenty of island baby action in my life.

Really, you’ll mostly only miss the baby’s squiby stage– you’ll be back in time to see plenty of good stuff, auntie;) Marianne and I promise to save some cuteness aside for ya!
