The Peace Corps will forward them to my site. This will make it get through customs a bit easier and faster. Remember to put “educational materials” or write “God Bless this Package” on the box.

Yes, you are correct… I listed two different islands on the last address. That is because the seemingly most reliable way to get mail to me at this point is to mail cards and letters to the P.O. box on Ambae island. A volunteer there will then send it on a ship over to Nic T.’s site on West Maewo. Nic T will then send the letter on to Nick K and my site. Sounds crazy, and yes, it will probably take over a month to get to me. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t  try to send me a letter.

By the time I get to site I might figure out a better way to get letters to me, but for now this is what I have.

Nic and I are sharing a sattelite phone. You can send free text messages (up to 160 characters) to me on it.

You can also send me a text using your email account-

	E-mails can be sent to Iridium pagers or phones by entering the Iridium phone or pager number into the following generic address, 881621467092@msg.iridium.com. You then just type in the message like a regular email, but it can only be 160 characters.

I will be able to send back messages (email and text) and Peace Corps will pay for it.

I should also still be able to call you with my cell phone, so feel free to top up for me.

I will try to be in touch as much as possible in between now and Phase II training come January, but probably wont have any way to update my blog.
